Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

I am having problems with my muslim landlord coming into my apartment without my permission. When I reprimanded him, he stated he was coming in to only get his mail but some of my stuff is missing or misplaced as well and he did not need to come into my apartment to get his mail. Not only that, he is now asking me once again when I will be moving out. I had already discussed this with a month ago and I also left him a message days ago when I will be moving out. If anyone has any suggestions or has a husband or brother who would not mind intervening to let this brother know to leave me alone, please email me @ salafiniqabi@yahoo.com. Insha'Allah I will be going to the masjid to find out if I can talk to the Imam. I just hope I will not have to call the police.

I wish I did have someone that could handle that for you!!! That's downright terrible sis. I think it's a hecka-good idea to speak with your Imam. I think that's real scary he's entering your apartment like that! Whoa! Landlord or not, he should not get down like that. If it's not am emergency or for repairs, he has no business in there. Things missing and what not, uh-uh, that's bad business right there. If your Imam doesn't want to get involved...I would seriously go ahead and file a complaint against him, because nowadays you just never know what he might do next. He sounds off, you know what I mean? I know it's sad to have to involve the police, but I rather that than something happening to you.
